The aim for Affordable Warmth Partnership is to try and reach as many
groups that deal with older people and inform them of the many grants
that are available for home insulation/heating repairs or replacement
and how to access these grants so that we can alleviate fuel poverty
and make sure everyone stays warm in the cold weather. Many people are entitled to these grants especially those over 60 but also those entitled to most types of benefit and these people could be
entitled to heating repairs or a new boiler or storage heaters, cavity
wall and loft insulation and reduced fuel bills.
